Hi Darren! Just wondering what is the biggest trout you have caught? Also i was looking at your pics and you caught a bone fish, Where was this and was it with a fly? Also have you been fishing with anyone else on the tour and if so who? Well done in Joburg, nice early ryder cup position! Thank Peter

Peter Hogan

Hi Peter, the biggest brownie that I've caught is 14lb - nice! The Bonefish that I caught was off Abaco in The Bahamas and it was most certainly caught with a fly. A good few of the tour pros also fish but I do most of my fishing with my great friend Keith Maxwell who is the club pro at Sunningdale and we really enjoy ourselves. I've got a trip coming up in Florida in May to do some Tarpon fishing and I can't wait - should be very exciting. All the best, Darren.

Not so much a question Darren, more of a 'Good Luck' message for 2010 mate. I've see you play many times and I know along with many others that there is still a few Majors left it that swing of yours. Best Wishes to you and your boys mate and thanks for the future entertainment when you lift another Major trophy. Regards Simon Eyre and Joanne my wife who thinks your lovely??? Should have gone to Specsavers!! Only joking. Take Care.

Simon Eyre

Hi Simon, thanks for the message and I certainly feel that there's a good chance of a Major - not too far away I hope! Joanne obviously has seriously good taste!!! All the best, Darren.

Hi Darren, Where and when was your best round of competitive golf? Every good wish for 2010. Joan

Joan Sweeney

Hi Joan, very Happy New Year to you! I shot 60 in the 2nd round of the Smurfit European Open at the K Club in 1999, I ended up finishing tied 2nd and my good mate Lee Westwood won the title! All the best, Darren.

Mr. Clarke, This is not a question, but I just wanted to thank you for being who you are and a great character in the game of golf. Your attitude and style has done wonders for my confidence over the last few years since I've been following you and I know 2010 is going to be a great year for you. Hope to see you play and shake your hand one day. All the best with you and your family. Steve Hansen Canada

Steve Hansen

Hi Steve, thanks for the message. I never really think of myself as an inspiration to people so it's extremely flattering when I receive messages such as yours. I also feel confident about 2010 and am really looking forward to the start of my year in South Africa in early January. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Kind Regards, Darren.

Hi Darren, Unlucky not to reach the top 60. Although the good news is your game seems to be in good shape. Keep it up and it will not be an issue next year. Freddie

Freddie Rowan

Hi Freddie, thank you for the message. I feel that my golf is in good shape and whilst I was just one spot out of the top 60 this year I fully intend to be right in there next year! Cheers, Darren.
