Pinnacle Point

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE POINT
Ever since I saw the territory, I was sure Pinnacle Point had the potential to become one of the world's most spectacular courses. Now it is taking shape, I am convinced that that is exactly what it will be when it opens next November.
The 1,000 acres of unspoilt beachfront near Mossel Bay in the southern Cape will have been turned into a course which will not only rival anything in South Africa for its beauty, but also anywhere else in the world.

It won't matter how badly anybody is playing, golf here will not be a good walk spoiled. It is simply one of the most stunning places I have ever seen and I don't think I was over the top when I described it as heaven on my first visit.
Now the course is developing, I can honestly say I can't wait to be able to play there.
My joint designer Peter Matkovitch has been more hands on because of my commitments elsewhere, but little in golf has ever excited me as much as being part of the Pinnacle Point experience.

Design is something I intend getting involved in more and more even though hopefully I still have plenty of time left at the top end of the playing department. My father Godfrey is also part of the team and he is enjoying overseeing the development of the three courses I currently have on the go in Sligo, Kildare and South Africa. He's going to be kept busy too because another three are already on the stocks.
