My Golf Tips

Darren Short GameShots to Practice in the Off Season

During the Winter months it can be really difficult to get yourself motivated to do any kind of practice but to keep your game in check and make sure it's sharp for the beginning of the next season the short game is the area to work on.

Shots from 100 yards and in can make a huge difference to your scores - so get down to the practice ground or range and practice your chipping, lob shots and wedges. Always make sure you use a target as this will help with your alignment and also you will know how far the shots are going. A range finder is a good device to measure your shots when practicing and when you get the feel for certain distances this will really help you when out on the course.
