Darren teamed up with Rory McIlroy in the Lough Erne Challenge and they played against the team from the south, Shane Lowry and Padraig Harrington in a betterball format.
The boys from the North shot a betterball 66 (six under par) beating their opponents by just one shot. Thousands turned up to watch the match which was played in great spirits and plenty of rain.
Darren was very impressed with his partner "He made all the birdies, and I was just out there for the ride".
