Darren played in the Alstom Open de France at Le Golf National de Paris near Versailles where he shot rounds of 70 and 76 leaving him on four over par which missed the halfway cut by one shot.
Darren now has a week off before defending the Open Championship title he won last year Royal St Georges - this year the Open Championship takes place at Royal Lytham St Annes near Blackpool.
