Congratulations to the happy couple!

Top secret plans have been kept under wraps for a good while now and Darren and Alison were finally married today on the beach at Abaco in the Bahamas where they have a home.

The couple, who met in 2009 by courtesy of an introduction through Graeme McDowell, became engaged just before Christmas 2011 and have now officially tied the knot as man and wife.

The wedding was a private family affair attended by Darren's two boys Tyrone and Conor, both sets of parents, sister Andrea, husband Davy and their two boys, Chubby and Cupid himself Gmac!

Darren and Alison along with all their guests were dressed in white which against the white sand and the blue sea and sky made for a pretty stunning occasion, as well as a very happy one.

Their short honeymoon will be spent at Abaco before Darren heads off to Korea to play in the Ballantine's Championship next week whilst Alison returns to the helm of her Belfast based business the Alison Campbell Model Agency.
