Darren played in The Honda Classic at the PGA National Champion Course at Palm Beach Gardens in Florida where he shot rounds of 73 and 75 which missed the halfway cut.
Darren plays next week in the WGC - Cadillac Championship at Doral where he is looking forward to joining up with his sons Tyrone and Conor, fiancee Alison and sister Andrea.
Compatriot Rory McIlroy won the event on twelve under par and now takes the World Number One spot from Luke Donald.
