Barclays Scottish Open

Darren played in the Barclays Scottish Open at Castle Stuart Golf Links in Inverness, Scotland, which was a new venue on the European Tour. The event was reduced to fifty four holes due to inclement weather conditions when the course was hit by landslides and floods due to incessant rain and thunderstorms.

Darren didn't have the best of weeks and finished in a tie for 66th on five under par after rounds of 69 67 and 75. The event was won by world number one Luke Donald on nineteen under par.

Next stop for Darren is Royal St George's in Kent where he makes his 20th appearance in the Open Championship.
