Darren played in the Maybank Malaysian Open at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club. In the first two rounds Darren shot rounds of 73 and 77 and missed the halfway cut. Once again the weather played a big part in this event with extreme heat, humidity and thunderstorms.
Eighteen year old South Korean Noh Seung-yul beat K J Choi by one shot to win the event.
Darren's next tournament is the Trophee Hassan II in Morocco which is a Pro-Am style event in which his father, Godfrey, will be his partner.
