Darren played in the Avantha Masters at the DLF Golf and Country Club in New Delhi and finished in a tie for 8th. He put together rounds of 71, 66, 70 and 71 to finish on a four round total of 278, ten under par. Clarke, who eagled the 18th hole on the final day now moves to 12th in the European Tour Race to Dubai.

Australia's Andrew Dodt won the Avantha Masters finishing on fourteen under par, just one shot ahead of England's Richard Finch.

Darren now takes some time off before playing the Maybank Malaysian Masters which begins on 4th March.
