Darren played in the Joburg Open played at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club in South Africa where he finished in a tie for second place alongside South Africa's Keith Horne.
Darren put together rounds of 63, 69, 67 and 68 to complete his four rounds in seventeen under par. He had a great finish and made an eagle three on the last when he holed his chip shot from the greenside fringe.
Playing partner Charl Schwartzel recorded his second victory in as many weeks claiming the title in Joburg on a score of twenty three under par.
Darren now travels to the United Emirates where he plays in the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship which begins on Thursday.
